  • The membership program does NOT cover appliance replacements, reimbursements for repairs or losses, or any compensation for property damage, loss, or consequential costs.
  • The plans do NOT function as homeowners’ insurance, extended warranties, or any form of coverage against accidental damage, theft, or manufacturer defects not diagnosed on a regular maintenance visit.

7.2 Eligibility Requirements

  • Only appliances that are safe and fully operational at the time of sign-up are eligible for preventive maintenance and discounted service benefits.
  • Pre-existing breakdowns, unsafe units, or appliances with missing parts are NOT included under the membership and will be serviced or quoted at member rates.

7.3 Reasonable Use Policy

  • “Reasonable use” means the number of free diagnostics, checkups, and requested repairs should broadly reflect typical household needs (Appliance Therapist reserves the right to limit, reschedule, or bill for excessive or abusive requests).
  • Free diagnostics, checkups, or credits are not transferable or deferred to future years.

7.4 Scope of Follow-Up Support

  • “Follow-up support” refers ONLY to advice or phone/video consultation regarding a recently completed repair AND a workmanship guarantee for the specific labor/parts performed.
